Step 1: Proceed to the NBI Clearance Website | Quick Renewal

1^st of all, you need to have an internet-enabled laptop or the smart phone with you.
Proceed to the official website of the NBI clearance by entering the address in the web browser (chrome/internet explorer/safari/etc.)
Click the “NBI Clearance Online Renewal” as shown in the image below.

Step 2: Find your NBI Clearance ID number

To apply for the Quick renewal, you need to verify your previous NBI Clearance ID number
This is an 18-digit number which is mentioned on the upper left corner of your clearance certificate, as shown in the screenshot below.
Note down the ID number, which will be required to verify from the NBI online system, along with other details, to proceed further.

Note:
The NBI ID will be acceptable only if you registered after October 2016, since the system was online. If you have not registered or if your clearance is even older than 16 October 2016, it will not be verified. If you have not registered online, don’t worry. Step 3: Verify Old NBI ID

After landing on the main page of the clearance website, look for the clearance renewal section and proceed to it.
- A new window will open, and you will need to enter the Old NBI ID if you were registered with NBI after 16 October 2016.
- The following required details need to be entered for verification:
  - Old NBI ID
  - Mobile Phone Number (For SMS verification)
  - First Name
  - Middle Name (Optional)
  - Last Name
  - Date of Birth
After entering the above details, click on Verify as shown in the screenshot below.

Note:
If your details are not verified, you are not eligible for the quick renewal. You have to apply for the new registration and clearance. The procedure of the NBI clearance is explained in the NBI Clearance Application article.

Step 3: NBI Quick Delivery Details

Once your entered details are verified, you will be landed on the “NBI Quick Delivery” section.
You can check all of your details, including your name and even photograph, as shown in the screenshot.
- All this information is the same as that entered in the NBI record during your previous clearance.
- If information is not updated, you need to update it by logging in to the system as mentioned in the article on information update.
Enter the clearance renewal ‘Purpose’ and “Purpose Details”.
The delivery address must be updated and correct, as the clearance certificate will be delivered to the mentioned address. Address should contain complete details including:
- Province
- City/municipality
- Barangay
- Street/unit/building
- Zip code
The renewal fee will also be shown in the window.
After checking all the information, click on the ‘next’ button to continue.

Step 4: Verify the entered details

A new window will be opened after data entry in the 3^rd step.
This window contains the same information entered by you in the last step.
Re-check the information and the address carefully.
The updated payment fee will be visible in this window.
Click the next button to continue to the payment section.

Fee Note:
The payment fee mentioned in this window may be more than the initially mentioned fee. Because this amount also includes the express delivery charges, depending on your address.

Step 4: Payment Method Selection

After the 3^rd step, you will be landed on the payment section.
Enter your birth date in the given fields.
Then select the suitable payment option to proceed to the payment section.
There are multiple payment options available for the renewal fee, including the following:
- Bayad Center
- Multi Pay
- ECPay

Additional Fee Note:
There can be an additional fee of around 25P for the online e-payment service charges.

Step 5: Payment of Quick Renewal Fee

After selection of the suitable payment method, you will get a payment “reference number”.
You will need that payment reference number to pay for the renewal fee.
The screenshot shows a sample reference number if you select Bayad Center as the payment method.
Against the reference number, your payment fee amount and the application details are saved, which will be automatically fetched during the payment.

Note:
If you don’t have an account with any of the above payment platforms, you can personally visit a nearby Bayad Center counter and pay in cash against the reference number. Remember to collect your payment receipt.

After the fee payment, the payment status will be verified automatically.

Step 6: Delivery of NBI Quick Clearance

After making the payment of the renewal fee, you are done. Just wait for the renewal certificate to be delivered at your doorstep.
Usually, it takes 5-10 days for the delivery of the clearance certificate at your doorstep, depending on your location.
The delivery fee is included in the total NBI Payment fee during the online renewal application in the payment section.
The NBI manages the door-to-door delivery of the clearance through partner courier services.

The validity of the NBI Clearance is usually one year. You need to have an NBI Clearance renewal before the expiry of the existing clearance.
